Frontline Military Ministry is, first and foremost, a
ministry committed to praying and interceding for our military men and women
deployed overseas to the battlefront.
In addition to prayer, this ministry provides the
opportunity for our fellowship to adopt a service member(s) and minister to them
personally, through letters and care packages, thereby meeting their needs
spiritually, emotionally, and physically, and ultimately ensuring that “no one
stands alone.” (Ezk.13:5)
Numbers 32:6 asks of us, “Shall your brethren go to war
while you sit here?” While in Ephesians 6:18, we are instructed to take up the
“sword of the Spirit,” which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer
and supplication in the spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance
and supplication for all the saints.” And in 1 Tim 2:1, we are admonished that
“all petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf
of all men.”
We believe that, as Christians, prayer is not only our
responsibility, but also our opportunity to enter into the battle and fight
alongside our warriors – Prayer is our “frontline!”
